Section One

Of all the sections in the book, section three is the jewel in the crown as far as I am concerned.  In here Mark clearly explains the different ways in which one is able to monetize a WordPress blog.  However, it may take some time to complete this section as he provides indepth information on how he himself made a $20,000 income through just one blog post.  In fact of all the sections of the book this is probably the one that really offers you value for money.  As not only does he explain how he made money himself but also shows ways in which you can make money with your blog offline.  There are plenty of plans out there which state that you should be able to $$$$ in just 30 days, but which are simply not achievable.  However, with the plan in this book he explains how you could be earning an extra $1,000 per week by the end of 2009.

Section Four

When you get to section four of the book you will be shown the various ways to promote the sites that you have built.  In this section you will find a very easy to follow diagram and a list of sites which can make the difference between yours being a success or failure.  Of all the sections this is probably, the most important of them as very rarely will someone offer to provide details of a traffic generation system which one can easily master.

Section Five

Section 5 of this book helps you with learning the ways to promote the sites that you have built in order that you can take them to a completely different level and compete more affectively against any competitors.  Though a few folks may find this section a little formidable in the beginning, Mark does include several warnings at the beginning of it that you need to have mastered the other ones before you move on to this one.

When taken as a whole WordPress Goldmine is a superb guide to help with affiliate marketing.  By using commonsense over unnecessary hype it certainly made a pleasant change and could well lead to more internet marketers actually producing books of a calibre similar to this one.

Even though WordPress Goldmine contains 127 pages and over 20 videos, each one proves to be great value for money.  It does not matter whether you are a complete beginner or have been an internet marketer for sometime you will find advice and tips contained within its pages that could help to increase your income.  If you are only going to buy one e-book this year then I would recommend that you buy this one.

Step 1: Find a Profitable Product / Market and Keywords.

Look for a niche with products and keywords you can monetize. Places to research include Amazon, Ebay and Clickbank, look for buying keywords that relate to what the product offers. Target keywords that get  at least 2,000 - 3,000 exact phrase searches a month with under 10,000 competing pages in Google if possible.  

Step 2: Domain Selection and Installing WordPress.

Choosing the right domain name for your site is essential if you want it to help your search engine rankings, have your keyword as the domain name with nothing else if possible. A .com is obviously best with a .net or .org second choices.
Install WordPress, which is easy if you have cpanel hosting with fantastico. When WordPress is installed choose, upload and activate a theme suitable for your niche. You will then need to upload and activate 2  essential free plugins:

Step 3. Write Your Sites Content.

First of all create your About Me page, create a character, deciding on the angle of your site ie. review, how to, story etc.
Write your first post with the main keyword in the title making it relevant to your market topic. Create your contact page and your Privacy page then write your second post. This one is more important than the first you wrote, you should use an LSI keyword for the title and try to have it support what the third and final post is about.
The final post is the most important because it will be at the top of the home page and it should presell your product with a review, story or how to of 200 - 500 words and should include your cloaked affiliate links and calls to action.

Step 4. Getting Ranked.

Getting your site indexed and ranked with Google quickly is important because it means you will start getting traffic sooner and hopefully  making money sooner. WordPress automatically pings every new post for you, but it is best to also use a service such as Pingomatic because they will announce it to many more sites. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, reddit, technorati etc. manually, or use one of the social bookmarketing software programs to do it automatically.

Step 5. Driving Traffic.

Once your site is indexed and ranked with the search engines you will want to generate a steady flow of traffic to your site. The best way to generate this is by writing as many short informative articles of 280 - 320 words as you can targeting your sites keyword with links back to your site in the resource boxes and submiting them to ezinearticles. These will give you backlinks from a high authority site and traffic for many months to come.

That's it, intenet marketing is just like any other business the harder you work at it the more reward you get. So when you have set up your first WordPress website repeat the simple steps outlined here and you will soon have a portfolio of successful money making WordPress Affiliate sites.
